Aroma: sprity one, lots of oak in the first notes. Then vanilla comes with quince, orange peel and different nuts.
Palate: lots of wood and tannis. Then comes soe toffee, fruits, some herbs and black tea.
Poskonis: bit dry, with tannins. Zesty and spicy. Comments: great whisky, complex and rich. But I had side to side comparison with Yamazaki 12 YO. I can not see such a big quality jump to pay the price difference. In this price level there are so many choices. Anyway, it is whisky of greatest quality.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
