Aroma: pleasant notes of leather, black tea, spices, ripe fruits. Like old library with leather furniture and cozy fireplace. Bit of exotic fruits notes, raisins, cinnamon, ginger. Old wood, pipe tobacco notes.
Palate: ripe fruits, berries liquor with orange peel notes. Finish: bit dry, medium long. Full of raisins, plums, orange liqueur wood and spice.
Comment: I believe, this style of malt will become rarity (if not already) - old style. If you can find, grab and keep for future generations. Very nice balance, deep aroma - you can enjoy sniffing all the evening. Bit dry in style, but I love it.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
