Aroma: apples, hay, cut grass. Some honey, cereals and vanilla.
Palate: quiet robust. Wood and grass. Apple peel, butter, some ginger, zest and grapefruit. Finish: vanilla, orange peel, some wood. Bitter, coffee notes.
Comments: nice aroma, robust taste. Bit too bitter, different than typical fruity Speysider. Not too complex, very enjoyable. For similar occasion I would maybe rather choose even lighter malt.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
