Singleton of Dufftown 12 Year Old
- Distillery: Dufftown
One of Singleton series. From Dufftown distillery.
Aroma: very gentle, slightly fruity, with significant notes of honey. Some nuts and flowers. Palate: sweet with notes of honey and orange peel. Gentle, with some chalk, anisee later. Becomes bitter and dry. Finish: quiet sweet, very simple. Comments: summer dram, maybe even with ice? Really light one, you can forget it right after trying. But bery very drinkable and pleasant. But we are talking about quality, not quantity, right? So this one is very nice to drink, but not to broaden the horizon.
The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
