Aroma: sweet peat, malted barley and fresh wood. Ashes, roasted ham, herbs and grass. Some oriental spice.
Palate: sweet. Then dry spicy wood with some saltiness. Apples, vanilla, lemon and ash. Black tea and grass. Finish: sweet, then salty and grassy with notes of black tea and pepper.
Comments: just good, but not impressive. Thick and round. I can't tell what's missing (maybe too grassy and too drying?), but it's just not perfect.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
