Aroma: notes of wood, plums, pear schnapps, toast, honey. More and more fruity then - oranges, ripe mango, pears. Polished wood, herbs and orange liqueur.
Palate: wood and grapefruit are complemented by fruity mix with mints and bit of aniseeed. Black tea, wood polish. Finish: lime, grass, butter.
Comment: you can feel the age, but wood is not dominating. Elegant and delicate, not too complex though. Dangerously drinkable - luckily (and unfortunately) I had sample only.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
