Aroma: sweet peat, pepper, malt. One can feel young age. Baked apples, yeast, bit of maritime character. With water almost the same, bit more malt and mashed potatoes.
Palate: sweet, lots of honey, pepper, lemon drops. Some peppermint, grapefruits. Very nice and fresh. With water- let's say the same.
Comment: aroma is nothing very special, but palate is gentle and pleasant. Good balance - fresh lemony peppery style. I don't know why, but remembered Longrow 18yo.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
