Aroma: smoke, motor oil, wood an oysters. Iodine.Nuts. Leather and sea notes. With time I get shoe polish, gouache.
Palate: salty, with ntoes of leather and nuts. Pepper, smoke, rubber. Smoked ham, balsamico vinegar. Finish: salty, long, swampy. With notes of salt, motor oil and smoke.
Comment: LP has it's character which is intense and recognizable. This one is nice, but not the best from the distillery.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
