Aroma: similar to Black Label, but more intense. Oily, spicy wood, orange jam, peppermint.
Palate: caramel and wood, some ashes, coal and black tea, liquorice. Finish: quiet long for a blend, spicy, with smoky notes and pepper.
Comment: quiet surprised me in a good way. Pleasant and firm character. Woth a try for BL lovers. And relative alternative when you do not have what to pour for guests who wants something into peaty side.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
