Aroma: chocolate notes mixes well with plums and wood notes. Old leather, tobacco box, well matured cognac. Mints with dried orange peel. Cloves.
Palate: leather and chocolate lets fruitiness to open up - oranges, also wood and peppermint. Finish: nice, with coffee, orange peel and pepper notes.
Comment: delicate as old good cognac. Just wood is not dominating here still, but sherry influence is already diminishing by letting some other notes to come. Malt for a true gentleman.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
