Aroma: nice Christmas notes - figs, orange peel, lots of chocolate. Cloves, cinnamon. Very aromatic, water helps to bring more eucalyptus, mint, pine flowers notes.
Palate: bit dry and woody. And sweet. Maple syrup and raisins, with powerful hints of chocolate, figs, soy sauce. Water doesn't change much, more orange and wood notes come up. Finish: spicy, with cocoa and sour figs.
Comment: just good - in the same league with Glendronach and Glenfarclas. With comparison is always easier to understand. In it's age category - just fine.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
