We can call this one first independent bottling in Lithuania (when cask is bought and bottled), if former edition of Benriach for Whisky Academy Lithuania we would call private bottling (bottled by Benriach special for customer). Anyway, I'm just happy that we have this nice tendency here in LT!

Aroma: tobacco box, citrus fruits, honey. Intense notes of grass, ginger, some nuts. Hints of cocoa, damp earth.
Palate: peppermint tea with honey and lemon. Lots of pepper, ginger, grass. Fresh and very alive. That lemony taste is so vibrant and robust, complemented with spice. Finish: bit bitter and grassy, fresh.
Comments: very clean. Naked taste without lots of influence from the cask, shines and represents well how whisky spirit is maturing. When you get bored by smoky malts and sherry monsters, this can be a good company, as like other older Glencadam malts.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
