Aroma: ripe sweet pears, honey, lemon drops and pepper. Fresh one. Fresh pine planks, wood polish.
Palate: sweet, pleasant. Notes of honey, pepper mixed well with grapefruit, ginger, unripe banana. Finish: bit bitter - lime peel, grass, green tea.
Comment: for this age it seems very green and fresh. Tasting blind I would give it not more than 15 years. Now it's interesting to try Glen Spey of 15 and of let's say 35 years!

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
