Aroma: baked apples, peat with tiny bit of wax. Reminds me young Rum a bit. Interesting one, maritime. Lemon and pepper. Orange liqueur, damp cave.
Palate: peat, pepper, ginger, some wax and salt. Pears, plums. Aniseed, baked apples. Almonds and cedar then. Finish: trace of smoke, spices and wax.
Comment: quiet interesting one, varies in a time. Has maritime charakter, bit rough at the start, then pleasant enough. Not my taste.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
