Aroma: mineral, grassy notes. Fresh one. Peppers, lemon, mustard. With time I'm finding more maritime notes - seaweed, iodine, pharmacy herbs. Almonds, baked apples. Reminds me a bit of a mid-aged Littlemills..
Palate: salty, notes of coffee, peppermint, grass, pepper and bananas. Hint of vanilla and lemon. Finish: warm, bit grassy, medium long.
Comment: simple, bit shy and closed. With time it opens up nicely it's maritime side.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
