Aroma: significant apple notes, vanilla, fresh honey, lemon drops, green tea, pepper. Typical robust Glen Grant, suitable for long maturing. Aroma is queit simple, fresh and clean. With water I get more grassiness, lime and lemon notes.
Palate: ripe fruits, peppermint. Honey and wood polish. Green tea, banana peel. Clean. With water even more wood and grapefruit. Finish: medium long, quiet light with bitter grass notes and pepper.
Comment: clean, robust malt. Nowadays, when there are so many malts without age from very active casks, this one classy is just right.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
