Aroma: sweet peat, full of lemon and pepper. Fresh and expressive. Green apples, peppermint and ashes. More and more maritime character with seaweed and burnt wood. Water is not obligatory this time, but with it maritime profile shows up at it's best with great balance along with fruits, especially lemons.
Palate: great fruitiness, with lemon and other ripe fruits as well with gentle notes of salt and ashes. Lime peel, good green tea and pepper. Finish: warm, grassy and bit sweet.
Comment: great moment - robust maritime malt became delicate one. Full of fruits. It could age further, I think.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
