Aroma: sweet peat, pepper and smoked ham. Sea brine, lemon. Needs some water and time. With water I have damp cave with water, smoked pig skin, salted fish.
Palate:  smoked wood, smoked ham and salt, pepper and seaweed. Lots of salt with some liquorice and salted fish. Water doesn't change the character much. Salt bomb. Finish: long and salty.
Comment: typical mid aged CI, pleasant. Nice salty bomb with sea notes.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
