Aroma: sweet peat, some honey and white pepper. Orange marmelade and lemon sorbet mix. Some caramelised sugar. Aroma is really sweet one.
Palate: aroma is bit different, we have some oak, pepper and smoke. Old books. Some ginger and orange peel jam (?) with spice. Cask is not the best one I guess and some additional strength would helped a lot. Lacks some punch a lot. Finish: medium long, warm, peaty and peppery with some sweet lemon.
Comments: nice aroma, typical CI, but lacks of chracter, especially the palate. Nice, but dull.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
