Povilas

Aroma: sweet peat, fresh lemon. Pepper and trace of salt. Fresh coastal style. Some smoked pigskin (CI trademark for me) and seaweed.
Palate: pepper, peat. Smoked ham and salt. Lime, zest. Finish: salty and quiet smoky. Medium long.
Comments: clean one. Good mix of saltiness and smoke. I like that  freshness with notes of salt and zest. Sweet peat with smoked pig skin character. Just lacks some punch to be wonderful.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
