Aroma: burnt wood, liquorice, tangerines with clove. Dry seaweed notes. Gentle, bit sweet. Wood is present with bit of old leaves.
Palate: pepper, liquorice, bit of salted almonds and gentle notes of smoke. More saltiness with lemon zest. Finish: salty and nutty.
Comment: interesting. Bit strange compost character. And it looks like it has no it's place, while Bruichladdich has their peated monsters Octomore and Port Charlotte. Not my style.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
