Aroma: sweet lemon sorbet tones with seaweed and malty notes. Some fresh wood and stewed apples. Also notes of cider and ginger. Deep, thick and sweet, fruity nose.
Palate: vanilla and saltiness comes first. Then some lemon, grass, peppermint, ginger and malted barley. Finish: vanilla, fresh wood, lemon with pepper, ginger and grassy notes.
Comments: just great for it's age. There is plenty of 10-12 year olds who taste dull. This one has character that I like.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
