Aroma: maritime character opens up with notes of sweet peat, white pepper, herbs and heather. No flower nose at all - oysters and seaweed. Water brings more brine, maritime character. With time and breathing - more peat and white pepper.
Palate: clean, full of lemon, pepper, pineapple, apples. Peppery peat and sea water. With water - more pepper and peat. Finish: slightly salty, peaty and clean.
Comments: one of the most clean Bowmore I had, very pleasant. Reminds me Bowmore Tempest. This one is bit better.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
