Aroma: flowery, with some thyme. Notes of smoked ham. Some fruits with cereals. Should be young. Lots of lime peel and baked apples.
Palate: spicy and bit dry. Honey with little vanilla. Zest and pepper with ginger. Spicy and fresh. Finish: bitter and bit dry. Grapefruts. Not very pleasant.
Comments: interesting and young, with rough edges - to bitter for me. Very bitter. It's a shame I can not compare to older Bladnochs.

Aroma - cereal, maybe some biscuits, something a little stale. Water makes it better, some flowers and citrus fruits. Palate - too much alcohol, notes of cream and citrus fruits. Finish is short. Not my type of whisky. A little time and water helps a little.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
