Aroma: sour one - red berries, pears, bread, raisins and malt. Full of plums. Also notes of damp earth.
Palate: sweet, lots of red berries. Honey, orange liqueur, raisins. And it is strange as I also feel alcoholic notes. Cherries jam, caramelised sugar, trace of wood. Finish: sweet and dull.
Comment: either it has changed, either it's my taste, either it's weak batch.. I can't enjoy it anymore as usual. Sweet and sour.. Too much of a port influence? Also regarding it's recent pricing.. I quit.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
