Aroma: bonfire smoke, pepper and brine. Some lemon. Dry smoke, more and more with time.
Palate: smoke and pepper, ashes and bonfire smoke. Some BBQ sauce and smoked ham. Bit dry - earth and ashes. Some grassiness. Finish: dry and salty. Smoke and wood. Long and peppery.
Comments: powerful and clean. Good, expressive character. Not the most complex, but very well concentrated.

The ratings system that we use is based on personal opinion and reflects only a personal momentary impression about the tasted whiskey. We do not represent any producers of whiskey and we are not in the whiskey business ourselves. However, we have our personal sympathies for particular whiskeys. We are human, therefore the ratings that we give are subjective. Furthermore, they are given with comparisons to other whiskeys in mind. We decided to use convienent and widely used 100 points system.
